Elyon Objects presents the Ianus Door Knob as part of “A Bunch of Knobs”, a travelling exhibition curated by Zaccheria Slater. Debuting during Milan Design Week, the exhibition brings together a diverse selection of contemporary designers, each exploring the door knob as both functional object and sculptural form. The Ianus Door Knob reflects Elyon’s ongoing investigation into duality — presence and utility, object and gesture. Defined by its balanced geometry and tactile weight, the piece transforms a familiar interaction into a deliberate, physical experience. As part of a travelling format, “A Bunch of Knobs” extends beyond Milan, positioning the door handle as a point of dialogue across contexts, cultures, and design languages.
The Anicca Vanitas Vase was selected as a finalist in AD Creators Spain 2024. Presented in Barcelona, the work formed part of a curated exhibition highlighting emerging and established voices in contemporary design. Rooted in the concept of impermanence, the Anicca Vanitas Vase reflects on the transient nature of objects and meaning. Its form balances fragility and presence, inviting a slower, more conscious engagement with the object. This recognition marks an important moment in Elyon’s ongoing exploration of symbolic form and material expression.
The Anicca Vanitas Collection was presented at 74thArts in Vienna, as part of a pavilion curated by Vienna Design Week. Conceived as a multisensorial installation, the presentation extended beyond the visual language of the objects. A bespoke scent, developed in collaboration with St. Charles Pharmacy—a heritage pharmacy specialized in aromatherapy—accompanied the collection, adding an olfactory dimension to the experience. Together, form and fragrance created an immersive environment, deepening the conceptual foundation of the Anicca Vanitas Collection: a reflection on transience, perception, and the ephemeral nature of presence.
The Anicca Vanitas Collection was also presented in Vienna as part of Vienna Design Week, within the framework of the Co/rizom exhibition. Extending its presence beyond Paris, the exhibition continued to highlight designers engaged in craft-based and materially driven practices across different cultural contexts. In Vienna, the Anicca Vanitas Collection further developed its dialogue around impermanence and perception, reinforcing Elyon’s ongoing exploration of symbolic form through objects intended for everyday use.
The Anicca Vanitas Collection was first presented during Paris Design Week, as part of the Co/rizom exhibition at Galerie Joseph. Bringing together designers engaged in material-driven and craft-based practices, Co/rizom foregrounds a dialogue between contemporary design and cultural continuity. Within this context, the Anicca Vanitas Collection was introduced as an exploration of impermanence through form and material. The presentation marked the origin of Elyon’s ongoing investigation into symbolic objects and their presence in everyday rituals.
